Shakira & Gerard Pique's get start romance: After months of speculation, popstar Shakira and footballer Gerard Pique's romance has now been confirmed, with a photograph of the couple sharing a passionate kiss on the cover of a Colombian magazine.

The 34-year-old singer is seen closing her eyes and leaning in for a romantic embrace with the 24-year-old sportsman on the cover of 'Caras', reported Daily Mail online. The 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker is a native of Colombia and has been linked to the Spanish footballer since last year, but she had dismissed the reports as mere rumours.

Shakira had called off her 11-year-long relationship with lawyer Antonio de la Rua, 37, at the beginning of this year, amid rumours that he had been cheating on her. The singer first met Pique last spring while shooting the video to her song 'Waka Waka', the official track of the 2010 World Cup.
