Shahrukh Khan is huge in himself but he too finds himself star struck once in a while. During his family vacation to South Africa, the actor had the chance to meet Shakira. SRK was in complete awe of the beauty with whom he not only took pictures but went on to tweet a number of compliments her way.

"Gorgeous, gracious and absolutely heartwarming Shakira. (She) was so nice to the kids. We are (her) fans for life," he tweeted which was followed by, "...she was so humble and so real. That's why she is such a rockstar...said my name with a beautiful accent too. Have never been more excited to meet a rockstar...the wife and daughter adore her...so do the father and son."

He went on to tweet to the actress and let her know that the family were completely smitten by her. "Thank you so much for your graciousness. You are a fabulous star. The kids think of me as a big hero now. May god bless you. Love, Srk."

This time the closing ceremony will also be graced by the on stage performance of the Columbian singer Shakira. Shakira meets African children to discuss education legacy of the World Cup

Ambassador and education activist Shakira met with three girls from different African countries to discuss the state of education in the continent and their own experiences of schooling. The meeting with the girls came as 1GOAL released.

Its Annual "School Report" which showed that many donor countries including Japan, Italy and America are not paying their fair share for education and as the UN confirmed that in 2010, African countries may be facing education cuts of up to $4.6 bn as a result of the financial crisis.

Colombian President-Elect Juan Manuel Santos and Colombian super star singer Shakira met at the Colombian Ambassador to Great Britain Mauricio Rodriguez's house in London and committed to work for "a Colombia that is educated and without hunger." During the one hour meeting Shakira talked to Santos about the social work she has undetaken through her charity organization Pies Descalzos.
